The San Joaquin Juneteenth Foundation was founded in 1976 by a group of individuals dedicated to celebrating Juneteenth within the community. Based in Stockton, CA, we are an active non-profit organization with events and activities taking place year-round, leading up to our annual Juneteenth Celebration. We like to stay active and involved within the community, spreading awareness to African-American issues and educating community members about our history. We're always welcoming new members to join us on this mission.

To recognize our journey for freedom, progress within the ongoing fight for civil and human rights, the need to establish opportunity and equality for people of color in our community.
